FitDC is a comprehensive health and wellness initiative that encourages residents to live a healthier lifestyle by linking them to nutrition and physical fitness resources in their communities, including official FitDC Coaches who can offer guidance on making healthy lifestyle choices. The initiative, reaching all 8 wards of the city, will be led by the DC Department of Health (DOH) in collaboration with the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR).
In the coming weeks, DOH and DPR will make additional announcements regarding FitDC and will update the community on how potential partners and residents can get involved in upcoming FitDC activities.
