If you are interested in learning how to best run your business, you should attend a workshop we are conducting using the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation's (FDIC) Money Smart for Small Business curriculum modules. During this session, representatives from DCRA’s Corporations Division will assist individuals with a better understanding the Organization Types and Tax Planning and Reporting for small businesses.
After completing this module, the participants will become familiar with the common types of business formations, including:
- Sole Proprietorship
- Partnership
- Limited Liability Company (LLC)
- S-corporation
- C-corporation
- Predict their businesses’ federal, state and local tax liabilities
- Prepare for tax obligations and establish proper accounts
- Obtain the proper licenses for their business and meet reporting requirements
