Parent Workshop: Local Wellness Policies

This parent-focused workshop will provide parents with direction on engaging with schools as it relates to their need to meet the requirements of the DC Healthy Schools Act-Local Wellness Policy requirements. Specific resources will be used to support parents on establishing and/or participating in a School Wellness Committee.

This training will:
Discuss the DC Healthy Schools Act and School Local Wellness Policies
Discuss School Wellness Committees (SWCs) and how parents can be champions to support schools towards a healthier school environment. Register for this free training here. Note: Space is limited.
