In commemoration of African Liberation Day, the DC Mayor’s Office on African Affairs (OAA)  is partnering with the Office of Minority Health Resource Center (OMHRC) to host a discussion on “Africans in DC and Access to Health Care.”   This discussion aims to highlight key trends in the African community in DC as it relates to health and raise issues of access, research & data collection, as well as strategies and opportunities for addressing the health disparities within immigrant and foreign born communities in the District.
