Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton's Small Business Fair

The DC Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking staff will be giving a presentation at two workshops at the Small Business Fair. The first presentation will be at the workshop Finding Financing for Your Business, where the department will discuss the Leveraging Capital of Private Lenders for Small Business: District of Columbia Collateral Support Program that will explain how to qualify for the program and how leveraging the capital of private lenders is making more capital available to District small businesses. The workshop will be held from 11:45 am-1 pm.

The second workshop is called How to Start a Small Business, where the department will give a presentation on Business Insurance Basics: What to Know. This presentation will provide business insurance basics from workers compensation to busines801 Mount Vernon Place, NWs property and liability insurance. The workshop will be held from 12:15 pm-1 pm.
