DC Public Schools is proud to announce the 9th annual Beautification Day on August 24, 2013 from 9 am-1 pm (note that this is a later start time from previous years.) This event is a great chance for organizations, communities and individuals to roll up their sleeves, spend a few hours doing hands-on projects for schools, and connect with the school community.
Projects this year include various "spruce up" projects such as planting flowers, painting, general cleaning and/or creating welcome back signs for students! Volunteers can register online at www.dcps.dc.gov/Bday2013.
