DDOT Projects Update Meeting for Ward 7 and 8 Communities

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will hold a community meeting on Thursday, March 6 to provide an overview of the agency, the National Environmental Policy Act and project development processes and updates on various projects of interest to Wards 7 and 8.

Project engineers will give presentations on the following projects:

  • 11th Street Bridge Project,
  • South Capitol Street Corridor Project,
  • Pennsylvania and Minnesota Avenue Intersection Study,
  • Parkside Pedestrian Bridge,
  • Barney Circle-Southeast Boulevard Transportation Study,
  • Pennsylvania and Potomac Avenue SE Pedestrian Safety Study,
  • Minnesota Avenue Phase 1,
  • Three Pedestrian Bridges, and
  • St. Elizabeths East Campus Infrastructure Design-Build, and
  • other projects.

The meeting will be held in an open house format and after the presentations a question and answer session will follow.
