Inspired by the Reclaiming the Edge exhibition, Kwelismith sings water songs, accompanied by guitarist, EL nathan Starnes. From a repertoire of spirituals, folk songs, popular songs, and jazz standards, Kweli sings that the river has been a symbol of everything from baptisms, betrayals, and love relationships to freedom, identity and even death.
