DDOT and the Department of Employment Services (DOES) will co-host a Commuter Benefits Information Session where attendees will learn about the Commuter Benefits Law that recently went into effect requiring organizations with 20 or more employees to offer pre-tax or subsidized commuter benefits.
The agencies will present information about the law’s requirements and answer questions. Representatives from Metro’s free SmartBenefits® program and third-party benefits administrators will be on site to help employers get started with commuter transit and bicycling benefits. Transit and vanpool providers will also share helpful resources for administrators to take back to employees.
