Jackson Art Center Fall 2014 Open Studios

Please join DC’s Jackson Art Center for its Fall Open Studios on on Sunday, November 16, 2014, from noon to 5 pm!

 

The artists of the Jackson Art Center will host their semi-annual Open Studios on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 12 pm to 5 pm. The twice-a-year event is an invitation to the community to visit the studios of more than 30 local artists displaying works on paper, canvas and fabric, in oil, acrylic, pencil, and pastel, as well as photography, sculpture, and ceramics, while enjoying complimentary refreshments and live music. The event is free and open to the public.

 

The Jackson Art Center, in the historic Jackson School, is located at 3050 R Street, NW, in Georgetown. It is home to the studios of more than 40 local artists. Used as working art spaces throughout the year, for two days Jackson welcomes the public to its Open Studios in April and November. The Jackson artists view the semi-annual open studios in Spring and Fall as an opportunity to give back to the community it has graciously called home for more than two decades.
