The 48th annual parade is on Friday, July 4 at 11 am. Join the Mayor in “the best small town parade in DC,” according to parade organizers. Rain or shine, line up begins at 10:15 am on Whitehaven Parkway, NW (at MacArthur Boulevard), between Our Lady of Victory School and the fire station. The parade ends at the Palisades Recreation Center with family friendly activities and food. Prior to the parade, at 10 am, Mayor Gray will host an open house at the newly modernized Engine Company 29 fire station.
