DDOT will join the H Street Festival with a huge presence on the H Street, NE corridor. This year, the agency is staging a booth for its Urban Forestry Administration and multiple “booths” for its DC Streetcar program.
The DC Streetcar will be at different locations along the corridor. At each, you can learn about the following:
5th Street and H Street, NE – How to Ride: Curious about riding the streetcar when service starts? Meet DC Streetcar staff who will share information about boarding, operators, wheelchair access and more.

8th Street and H Street, NE – Kids Zone: Face painting, carnival cut outs for photos, and popcorn will be available at this stop. DC Streetcar staff will have family-friendly giveaway items and feature streetcar safety information for kids. This stop is ADA accessible.
13th Street and H Street, NE – Streetcar Safety: Following the Look, Listen, Be Safe! theme, visitors are invited to view safety posters and materials and talk with DC Streetcar staff about the safe way to drive, bike, and walk around the corridor when streetcars are operating.
