World AIDS Day happens every year
on December 1 to remember those
lost to the disease, to raise awareness
about HIV, as well as to find out about
protecting yourself and others from
becoming HIV infected. For many people the day is associated with the red ribbon, an instantly recognizable symbol. Wearing a red ribbon is asimple way to show your support.
Look below to find an event. Go take an HIV test, see a film, or find ways to support our fellow DC residents with HIV.
