The Office of Partnerships and Grant Services in partnership with Technical Assistance & Support Consultants (TASC) is co-hosting a Grant Seeking Basics Workshop on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 9:30 to 11:30 am at 441 4th Street, NW, 1117 South (Judiciary Square). This workshop is designed for nonprofit organizations to learn how to get your organization ready for fundraising; identifying funding prospects; developing a fundraising plan; preparing a high-quality proposal; and building long-term relationships with funders.
As a bonus for attending, TASC will also provide free writing services and resources to selected nonprofit groups through the TASC Grant Proposal Assistance Program. One organization will receive assistance in preparing a proposal that meets the Washington Regional Association of Grantmakers' proposal guidelines and ten organizations will receive a copy of TASC's Grant Seeking Basics book and two-hour Federal Grants Writing Workshop DVD.
