The Rental Housing Commission (“Commission”) has scheduled a meeting for Friday, July 15, 2016, 11 am to 12:30 pm, in the Commission’s hearing room at 441 4th Street, N.W., Suite 1140B-North, Washington, DC. The Commission will vote to adopt draft decision and order in the following appeal:
New Teacher Orientation (NTO) will be held on August 11 at Columbia Heights Education Campus (CHEC) from 8 am to 3:30 pm. Orientation will include an address from Chancellor Henderson, overviews of DCPS initiatives and the five-year Capital Commitment plan, a family engagement panel, and your choice of breakout sessions. NTO is for all new school-based Washington Teacher Union (WTU) employees, as well as those hired after last year’s NTO.
A separate NTO will be held for Extended Year New Teachers, following Extended Year Induction Day on August 2 at CHEC.
